Dimensions of Health
There are 6 dimensions of health, which each student should obtain through physical activity, they are:
Physical - ability of human body structure to function
Social - ability to interact with other individuals
Mental/ Intellectual - ability to process information and act properly
Emotional - ability to cope, adjust, and adapt
Spiritual - belief in some force or dynamic other than humans
Environmental - comprised of

- External: one's surroundings, (habitat) and
- Internal: a individuals internal structure (genetics)(hepi 2010)
The key to good health is ‘exercising’ each of the dimensions of health and maintaining a balance between them.
